Great call on gold being the oil of last year. Yeah, despite its run, I’ve read a lot of analysts warning against gold. I guess that goes back to the investing principle of “don’t play follow the leader.”

Hi Tim. Gold feels like the new “oil” from last year, doesn’t it? At a meeting today, one guy even said he was going to convert half of the funds he got from selling his mother’s house to gold. I don’t know that I trust that either at this point, since so many people seem to be ready to go that route.

As for Cash4Gold, I hope they go away like most of the psychic networks have gone away. I hate that it seems like they’re playing on the emotions of people who really need money.

I had a bunch about about this, but never heard anything about the employee testimonial. The Consumerist (another great blog) had a bunch of stories on Cash 4 Gold. They even had a post that reported C4G offered one blogger, who had a host of negative things to say about the company, something like $3,000 to take his post down.
I don’t think this company can recover.

Speaking of gold, futures reaches over $1,000 today — investors are making that flight to quality on account of the unpredictable market.

Thanks for the report, I've got friends who have been burned by companies like this. One had a diamond stolen when it was sent out to be fixed! Crazy world out there, you have to be very cautious! The Almost Millionaires last blog post..How do you define wealth?
