Hi Tim,

I missed that little notice; been busy doing other things. I had to get a haircut today, and saw the big, fancy commercial of Citi's on TV while I was there. Man, that's chutzpah for you, isn't it?

I don't have any Citi cards, but my wife does. I'll mention this to her when she gets home; not sure what her reaction will be.

What's left to say about Citi? I'm sure they were able to sneak these cancellations in before February's rules go in effect. Despite the negative impacts to your credit score, I think many, many Americans will be canceling their cards. Is that what you plan to do?

Here's the latest on Citi (from our blog post this morning):

"Citigroup, meanwhile, has started charging annual fees to card holders who don’t put more than a specific amount on their cards, typically $2,400 a year. Other banks are charging inactivity fees if customers don’t use their credit cards during a specific period of time. You heard that right: You could be spanked for staying out of debt."

Citi may run out of customers before too long! Oh wait, the government owns a controlling stake in Citi...they'll never go out of business.

Nice post,
