I’d have to agree, Xavier. However, it’s a 50-50 proposition, our present leadership, so we’re kind of stuck with things the way they are for awhile.

Thanks for your comment, Belmont. The figures aren’t realistic, and this country is still hurting financially. Something’s got to take hold eventually.

A truly insightful article.I agree to the point that number of jobs have not increased significantly. People applying for unemployment benefits are reducing due to the increase of vocational or part time jobs.

Mike, I can understand how it might be hard to track, but the figures that the governments sometimes put out don’t make sense when we all know better. I mean, I know many people who aren’t employed, but aren’t being counted anymore.

It’s funny how the powers to be play with the unemployment figures. Over here in the UK it seems to be done on a regular basis. I remember reading in one of the broad sheets that there is a difference between someone who is unemployed to someone how is seeking Jobs seekers allowance. The people on jobs seekers allowance are not on the RECORD as being unemployed! Funny that!
