Tim, I read a few different news stories to make sure I was getting it right. What I did was go to Google news and type in “health care bill Baucus.” Lots of stories popped up, and I scanned through those. Make sure you read the CNN story also; very prominent there.

Where did you read about these specifics? I could only find articles (mainly from the NYTimes) that only discussed the insurance company surcharges.

I’m really interested in finding out more on those fines.

Actually Wil, we may end up with a choice on this one, because I have a feeling that provision will be stripped out of any health care bill that eventually gets seriously looked at.
